Mackie Flats are stylish, high-end apartments located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. So not just any sign would do. Their new exterior building sign reflects the building’s rich 130-year history, landmark status and prime location.
Built for attention, we custom fabricated and installed a double-sided flag sign that aligns perfectly with its environment. For example, the wall plates of the new sign feature a V-Groove pattern inspired by the building’s classic architecture.
This retro-looking sign has external lighting with LED “Bullet” spotlights at the top and bottom, creating a dramatic effect and maximizing nighttime visibility.
The 50 sq ft Mackie Flats / Grain Exchange exterior building sign is packed with features:
- Sign body is hand-fabricated aluminum tube angle and sheet.
- Ornate aluminum gussets.
- Weather-rated exterior J-box with projecting LED downlight fixture.
- Color schedule: Satin Black finish, Shadow Gray, Warm Beige.
- Electrical connections were engineered to securely pass through bottom of sign into the building.
