The Coast Apartments
F Street Development Group and RINKA are currently constructing two buildings in the Lakeshore Commons in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The first apartment is named COAST, offering a holistic and natural living experience surrounded by the beauty of Lake Michigan and Oak Creek’s Lake Vista Park. #SignEffectz is fabricating and installing two sets of flush-mounted, illuminated “COAST” letters lit with LED neon tubes and a backer piece to give a border look.
Additionally, in the Leasing Office, #SignEffectz is fabricating and installing a double-sided non-illuminated “COAST Leasing Office” sign, as well as three exterior surface door vinyl displaying the logo and tagline, featuring a bull and the phrase “an F STREET experience.”
Incognito Raceway
All of this is possible with our Exterior Project Manager, Mark Lemke. He works closely with electricians and Stevens Construction to determine the precise placement and electrical requirements for exterior signage.
Josh Brown, Account Manager at Sign Effectz highlighted the unique challenge encountered during the configuration of the COAST channel letters adding, “The configuring of the COAST channel letters was a difficult task because half of the letters were hanging over an elevator shaft. Running electrical wiring through an elevator shaft is not really possible. Mark had to find a creative way to channel the wires on the exterior of the building through one of the corrugated ribs. Through one of the bump-outs, we drill a hole through the letter and route the wires. In the signage industry, we refer to this as an incognito raceway!”
ADA Compliant
For the interior, #SignEffectz is creating two LED neon “COAST” signs to be placed within the leasing office. Eric Rose from #SignEffectz is responsible for procuring the necessary permits for our exterior and interior signage. Additionally, within the interior, Cassie Rieth, #SignEffectz’s ADA Project Manager, is addressing every ADA signage requirement, from restrooms to entrances, to stair signs. The ADA signage is in partnership with Stevens Construction, the project’s builder.
