There are certain things you get involved with in business because they make sense. And then there are things you stay committed to because they matter. The Ride For Veterans has always been the second one for me.
When we started this ride five years ago, the goal was simple—bring people together, raise some money, and support veterans who needed it. What I didn’t fully realize at the time was just how real the need was, and how powerful the right kind of support can be.
That’s a big reason why we continue to partner with Veterans Community Project. They’re not just talking about the problem of veterans experiencing homelessness—they’re solving it.
And now, here in Milwaukee, they’ve taken a major step forward. They’ve officially broken ground on their tiny homes village. That’s not just a milestone. That’s momentum.
It means the work is happening right here in our community. It means veterans in our area will have access to something that works—a place to live combined with the kind of support that helps them stay on their feet long-term.
Veterans Community Project surrounds each resident with wraparound services—mental health support, job placement, financial guidance, and a real sense of community. It’s a model built for long-term success, and it shows in the results.
An 85% successful transition rate.
Their Stories Will Grab You
I’ve met veterans through this process. I’ve heard their stories. And once you do that, this stops being a “cause” and starts being personal.
That’s why we ride again on June 13, 2026.
Not for attention. Not for recognition. But because it’s a way to show up and be part of something that’s making a real difference.
Every rider, every sponsor, every dollar raised helps keep that momentum going—especially now, as the Milwaukee project moves from groundbreaking to reality.
If you haven’t joined us yet, this is the year to do it.
Because this year, you can actually see where the support is going.
You can point to it. You can follow its progress. You can know that what you’re part of is helping build something that lasts.
What You Can Do Now
If you want to be part of it, there are two ways to step in:
- Register for the ride and join us on the road and at Wisconsin Harley Davidson for music, good times and food trucks
- Become a sponsor and help drive the impact even further
Either way, you’re helping move something important forward—for veterans right in our area.
