New Sign For Nail Salon
Owning and operating a retail business in a crowded metropolitan area has its challenges. Building awareness of your store and attracting a steady stream of customers is high on the list. The owner of the Nail Bar on Downer Avenue in Milwaukee was impressed with the signs we did for nearby retailers so she contacted us when she wanted a brand new look for her salon.
The sign package for Nail Bar included a flag mounted store sign, a series of vinyl window graphics and a custom built neon “open” sign. Each played an important role in marketing the salon.
The store sign was mounted high enough so that pedestrians and motor traffic could easily see it. Keeping their options open for additional lightening enhancements was important to the owners, so we designed in the possibility of adding goose neck lights. The window graphics featured the salon’s services. The neon sign was custom designed to provide a very unique, nostalgic feel.
THE RIGHT WAY TO COMMUNICATE
The team at Sign Effectz is firmly committed to being proactive throughout each step in the process of creating a new custom sign. For example, this project had two distinct permitting entities (the city as well as the business district in which the salon operates).
Our Account Manager met at the installation site with representatives of both districts to point out the details of the plan, including an explanation of the where and why of each of the signs in the package. He pointed out why they not only benefit the business owner, but also the building owner and other retailers in the area. This proactive and open approach to communication promotes understanding and collaboration.
Tyan was great to work with, very receptive to the ideas we brought to the table. Very timely in giving her feedback to what she liked and didn’t like; she was decisive. From start to finish, it was a smooth process and great collaboration.
